On 19 April 2023, a further in-person meeting of the BISS project Consortium took place in Madrid, at the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía (MNCARS).
The session focused on the project’s core deliverables, including the labels for the sculptural taxonomy tables and the aligning of these with the blockchain design. Several dedicated case studies were presented, providing valuable insights for the definition of taxonomy.
In the afternoon, attendees visited the museum’s Restoration Department and Sculpture Collection, highlighting key works, and identifying potential case studies for further research.
The meeting marked made significant progress toward the project’s goals, reinforcing collaboration and setting a clear path forward.
