On 7 October 2022, a follow-up in-person meeting of the BISS project Consortium took place at the headquarters of CBM & Partners in Milan.
The session opened with a discussion of the proposed tables and definitions for the labelling of sculptural works, a foundational step for the project’s development. This was followed by an in-depth exploration of the integration of these standards into blockchain technology, with an emphasis on transparency and traceability.
The afternoon was dedicated to sharing experiences and best practices related to the study and management of sculpture. This collaborative exchange highlighted common challenges and set the stage for developing innovative solutions.
This meeting reinforced the Consortium’s commitment to fostering innovation and setting international standards for the management of sculptural art.
